I have been observing these whitewater males for several hours. They keep staring at a tiny number on their phones.
5.8
Apparently, 5.7 is disappointing.
5.9 starts to get exciting.
And 6.0 requires everyone to stop what they're doing and lock in!
I do not understand how a couple extra inches of water can affect a grown man's decision making and life choices, so I'm documenting everything! I hope I can grasp the excitement soon.
One of them just yelled, "IT'S COMING UP!"
The others immediately began throwing on their gear and fumbling around in a panic.
Off to the bush where I will continue monitoring the situation!
